Every Child’s Voice Matters

A trauma informed education and mental health programme that helps children and students speak up, heal, learn through shared experience.

What Tell Somebody is all about

Tell Somebody is a trauma informed education and mental health programme for schools, colleges and universities. It uses true to life stories, simple activities and clear teacher guidance to help young people recognise unsafe situations, talk to trusted adults and begin to heal

Why this matters

Too many adults disclose childhood abuse only when they are older. Early education saves years of pain. This project gives children a voice, gives teachers a clear plan, and brings hope into classrooms and communities

Vision

  • Every child can find their voice
  • Every teacher can listen with confidence
  • Every survivor can believe in healing

Who I am

My name is Nokhaya Dlamini. I have more than thirty years experience in mental health services. I am also a survivor. I am writing Outshine the Darkness, a true story that will be published soon. I turned pain into purpose so that no child has to feel alone.
